PATRICK EDWARDS

Patrick Edwards co-founded The Stockpot in 2014, initially setting up at the local farmer’s market and opened the first brick and mortar in 2015 in Virginia Beach.

Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Patrick started his first restaurant job at 15, and worked at multiple restaurants throughout Tidewater. In his mid twenties, he went back to school to “get out of the industry” and received his degree from Virginia Wesleyan University. Shortly thereafter, he was back in restaurants and has been in it ever since.

A three month long backpacking trip of Europe became the catalyst for entrepreneurship, which has spawned three locations with more endeavors on the horizon.

Patrick is the President of the Coastal Chapter of Virginia Restaurant Lodging & Travel Association (VRLTA), the Vice Chair of the Downtown Norfolk Council, the co-chair for the Norfolk Hospitality Coalition, a member of the board of directors for VisitNorfolk and an entrepreneur mentor for the Selden Market.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys travelling, crosswords, his vinyl collection, live music, a good beer and pretending like he is funny.
